Metadata HUD in 2.6 final?
re: this note in recent beta builds: "NOTE: The Metadata HUD has still not been finalized, so it is not included in this build. If you’re interested in testing it, it is still available in the beta release of 2.5"
Will the metadata HUD be included in the 2.6 final?

I'm still not convinced that the Metadata HUD is a good idea. It's there in the 2.5 beta for people to try out and send feedback.
It seems like a good idea, but the actual implementation leaves something to be desired. It's also not something I would use, which drops my motivation to work on it and polish it.
I've only heard from a handful of people about it, and I have some other ideas that will probably be much more useful.
