Hi,

I'm very new to mmd, is there a way to have the heading numbering in the format X.Y.Z, where X=Chapter, Y=Section, Z=subsection, and all the counters are updated automatically?

If not, is it possible to direct MMD to insert these when exporting to latex?

   LaTeX itself handles these sorts of things based on the document class.

   As for HTML, this would be a job for your CSS file.
