I ran into a problem with Scrivener and MMD 5.2 which I reported first in the Scrivener Forum: http://www.literatureandlatte.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=34669

MMD 5.2 removes the necessary meta-keys regarding LaTeX, which would be needed for the following XSLT processing. The change logs indicate that this was intended. True or is it a bug?

    This is true.

The XSLT approach to creating LaTeX is really old and not specifically
supported anymore. (Hasn't been for a long time).

If you want to use this, I would recommend using different metadata
keys, and modifying the XSLT to use the new ones (e.g. `latexinputxslt`
or the like). MMD only strips metadata keys it "knows" about that are
not appropriate to the format being produced. In this case, LaTeX keys
are not needed when creating HTML.

    Hope this helps!

Thanks for the clarification and the workaround (which works fine).
