Hi,

On my 10.11.3 Mac's and MM 5.0.1 the lists (OL, UL) are gendered with a p-tag inside.

- list 1
- list 2

becomes:

 <ul>
    <li><p>list 1</p></li>
    <li><p>list 2</p></li>
 </ul>

Is happens when the docs are generated via termial and also via Marked or Codekit (MM inside app).

regards,
feek

    Hi,

    Seems like I've found the reason why the above behavior happens.

    In my document I have 2 had two `UL` lists and some white lines in-between (the document is kind of a todo-list):

    ```
    - item 1 list 1
    - item 2 list 1
    - item 1 list 2 (one or two return lines above this list)
    - item 2 list 2
    ```

    becomes:

    ```
    <ul>
      <li><p>item 1 list 1</p></li>
      <li><p>item 2 list 1</p></li>
      <li><p>item 1 list 2 (two return line above this list)</p></li>
      <li><p>item 2 list 2</p></li>
    </ul>
    ```

    regards,
    feek

    Those aren't two lists. That is one list with a blank line after the
    second item. This creates a list with <p> tags.

    This is proper behavior.
