Should be one before each
"Cannot", before "Linux tardis", and before "This is".

not actually using MultiMarkdown.

There is no MultiMarkdown version 1.0000034.

Whatever package you have installed is not MultiMarkdown, and
shouldn’t be calling itself that.

The links for actual MultiMarkdown are:

http://fletcherpenney.net/multimarkdown/

https://github.com/fletcher/MultiMarkdown-4/

Can you tell me where you installed that from, so I can contact
them to have them change the name?

Thanks!

message:

$ multimarkdown -v

This is MultiMarkdown, version 1.000034.

I followed the instructions on your site, I believe. The
following are from my command history...

git clone
git://github.com/fletcher/MultiMarkdown-4.git

cd MultiMarkdown-4/

git submodule init

git submodule update

make

make test-all | less

cd ~

(I added extra line returns to try to make this clearer than
last time; apologies if it gets too spaced out.)

$ ls -lrth /usr/bin/multimarkdown

-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 3.5K Jul 11 2011
/usr/bin/multimarkdown

So this may be a previously-installed version...? I'll try
removing it and re-installing.

remember installing the program back in 2011 but must have done
so.

Thanks for your time,

which is a perl module based on the original MultiMarkdown from
years ago.

There are a few small differences, but the new version is
much better.
