In finder, I can use quicklook to view those files formatted properly. I use "MultiMarkdown QuickLook.qlgenerator" tool, which is in my ~Library/QuickLook directory.

However, if I use qlmanage from the command line: "qlmanage -p filename.md", it fails with the following message:

Testing Quick Look preview with files: Setapp.md Entity: line 1: parser error : Start tag expected, '<' not found ****# Setapp ^

If I copy the same file as filename.txt and use "qlmanage -p filename.txt" it properly previews as a text file. Other filetype previews also work using qlmanage -p.

I have tried both qlmanage-r cache and qlmanage -r and restarting the machine, but the behavior remains.

Any ideas?

Terry Brown
