Sentence starting with apostrophe.
Fletcher,
I am brand new, as in a few weeks, to MMD and have deployed it for my online journal. My last post started with 'Twas and I noticed that the straight quote in front of the "T" did not get educated into a proper apostrophe. You can see it here. Hope this helps. I am in bewildered awe at your accomplishment with MMD, thank you for all that you do.
Regards,
Lou Lesko

I'll take a look and see what makes sense. There will be edge cases that are not handled correctly regardless of what I do. A contrived example, but:
'Twas the Smiths' football.
In that case, it will be treated as opening and closing quotes, even though both should technically be apostrophes.... And without hardcoding exceptions (which I don't want to get into), I don't see an obvious way around this.

Thanks for the reply. There's probably no need to dig deeper on this. I
just happened to notice.
Thank
